The whole ride home was quiet, except for Manikah's occasional humming.

"Have you thought about names for my niece?" Manikah asked excitedly, making Dulce chuckle. Touching her stomach for the fifth time since she got in the car, she shook her head.

"Niki, to be honest...I'm not even sure if I want to have this child. I mean, you already know I fucked up. So who's my child's father? I can't cope having to raise Corey's child and deal with him for 18 years. I will fuck around and go to jail," Dulce explained as she felt her lips trembling. Manikah sighed before patting Dulce's knee, never looking away from the road.

"We all make mistakes, DeDe. None of us are perfect...but now that you've learned, there's a more important issue. OBVIOUSLY, you didn't use protection with either of them, you gotta be smarter than that. There's a whole lot more worse things that you can bring home than a baby. Some of that shit can't be cured, and I just got you back to be losing you again. As far as the baby goes, that's your decision, it's your body. If you decide to get an abortion, that's on you. If you wanna keep the baby, that's on you too. Either way, I'm here for you. You're my cousin, but you're my sister," Manikah acknowledged, smiling reassuringly over at Dulce, who grabbed her hand.
